We provide capital, strategic insights, and access to essential networks, helping visionary entrepreneurs transform groundbreaking ideas into market-ready solutions.
Sahab Aslam is Principal and Investor at Sukun Ventures. She is deeply passionate about leveraging her corporate experience and technical expertise to support health and wellness innovations that address critical unmet needs. After dedicating three years to angel investing during her evenings, Sahab retired from her corporate career to focus full-time on nurturing early-stage startups. Her rich background includes significant roles across data science, product management, software engineering, agile methodologies, and human-centric design. Sahab has led the development of both B2C and B2B digital products in fintech and digital health sectors at notable companies like Merck, CSL Behring, Datto, and Prudential. Most recently, she enhanced her healthcare ecosystem expertise as the Head of Enterprise Data Science & AI at Myriad Genetics.
An ardent tech evangelist and startup advisor, Sahab is particularly dedicated to empowering women founders. She serves as chair of the Investor Relations & Mentorship Program for Women Entrepreneurs at Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs and mentors at Berkeley SkyDeck and Techstars. Sahab is a frequent speaker at conferences and actively engages in organizing community events. Additionally, she serves as a judge at VCIC and other startup competitions.
Sahab is also an Adjunct Data Science Faculty at UC Berkeley. She has been an invited guest lecturer at Haas Business School and Columbia School of Engineering.
Within the investment community, Sahab is the AI Sector Lead at HBS Alumni Angels NY and is actively involved in the Deal Selection Committee at the Berkeley Angel Network and the Medical Device & Digital Health Selection Committee at Life Science Angels. Locally, she supports the entrepreneurship ecosystem as a member of the Life Sciences Affinity Committee for Philly Startup Leaders and the YF Investor Committee.
